Grew up on the east coast but has traveled throughout the U.S. Worked in fuels reduction, woodland firefighting w/ the forest service, and served numerous fire services across the country. 7 years of professional saw experience and 4 years as a tree climber!
Hobbies include climbing frozen waterfalls in the winter and playing up in the mountains. Has a great passion for the work that he does!
Ryan Feeney
Ryan was previously a chemist for 10 years, and prior to that was in residential construction. He is now on our forestry crew operating munchers and our forwarder.
Hobbies include rock climbing, dirt bike riding, and spending time in the woods!
Brandon St. Clair
25 years in the Civil Construction, heavy highway, and logging industry. 8 year Marine Corps Veteran.
Hobbies include hunting and shooting little things from a long way off.
Jon Wishinski
Hailing from Sloatsburg, NY. He is an Aviation Ordnance Veteran of the US Navy.
Jon has a love for all things wood, powerlifting, and running.

I founded Big Twig in 2009 with the humble beginnings of a pickup truck, climbing gear, and a two chainsaws.
I saw a need for care for large trees and to provide forest management in southwest Montana. This has led us to a resume of 14 years of results driven tree care and sustainable forest management.
It has been an adventure through the years of working with trees both residential and forestry.
